Rodi advice

So i got our, mapleredta and I, rodi unit running with all new filters and i want to know what acceptable tds readings are. Out of my tap i measured it at like 160. At first I actually got a zero reading but I've only used it for 3 gallons so far. My readings are now from 2 to 7 is this acceptable or is something wrong? Thanks guys

A good RODI should always read 0

Before my DI unit I get 0 to 2, after I get 0.

Did you change the di resin as well? How old is the membrane?

If everything is new and working correct the TDS should read 0. My only guess is that the meter isn't place in the right spot. I have mine right in the "blue" tube that feeds directly into my holding tank. I've never seen anything other than a 0 reading on my output. Not trying to speak down to you but it's really my only guess. Whenever I've had issues I call the customer service number for the manufacturer. I have a Spectrapure unit and they've always helped me out. You may clean the probes? Kind of a shot in the dark but if they're dirty they might read like something is in the water. Regardless, you spent the money on a RODI and it should read 0.
