I just started making my own RODI water. When storing salt and RODI water for later use, should I keep my pump in any of the containers to keep it circulating? After a WC, I usually only keep several gallons of salt mix just in case but I'll keep about 7 gallons a week for top off. I keep the RODI in a Brute container and just grab as I need. I keep the salt mix sealed in an air tight 5 gallon bucket. Do I need a pump or air stone in either of the containers?

Fresh water is added so slowly through the ATO that oxygenating it won't make a difference. SW can be stored without air but should be aerated before the water change.

I keep my salt in a 32 gallon brute with a powerhead that runs 15 minutes an hour. No idea if it really helps or not but IMO keeping the salt water aerated could help keep its ph up for a water change. Then again the difference could be minute. I've never actually tested my fresh salt water for ph.
