I have the Air, Water & Ice - Mighty Mite.

After making 20 gal last week, I forced as much water out of the unit with air instead of fast flushing.
The water created had a TDS of 4.

Today, I started the fast flush and a red/brown sediment rushed out of the waste line.
I let 5 minutes pass then restricted the fast flush for 10 minutes.

The TDS for the water created today reads 3.

Could dry storage have truly improved performance?

+1

Or, could be due to colder water temps, which contract/close up the membrane.

Example- Winter numbers are always better than summer.
