I recently purchased a 90 gallon set up, I live 3 flights of stairs up in an apartment so buying water from LFS is out of the question lol. What units do you suggest? thanks

AWI is the popular favorite. I would do 5 stage. I have an AquaFX and love it as well.

Stay away from Pure Water Club whatever you do.

I got the AWI also,
a> This one, and i asked them for the Inline TDS instead of the handheld. They even installed it.

In a horizontal housing, as the resin settles, there will be a pathway of least resistance at the top where water can flow while coning into minimal contact with the DI. Make sense?</span></span>

I bought a 100GPD unit from Melev's Reef. I think it was $170 or so. Been a great performer.

If you buy from AWI you get a 10% discount if you are an ARC Member.

Poor quality control (numerous leaks are the norm) and nonexistant customer service... if you do actually correspond with someone, his English is bad enough that it is impossible to explain your problem.
Ask me how I know.

How do you know? : P

I currently have a Pure Water Club with no problems in 18 months. However, I feel I am very lucky based on other reviews. I will go with AWI in the future. Also, I have a 100 gallon per day production unit which I feel is over kill for the 90 gallon tank I have. I change 15 gallons per week, and use about 12 gallons per week in my ATO. Less than 30 gallons per week total... meaning the RO/DI runs about 8 hours per week.

AWI Typhoon 3 is what I use, basically all RO/DI units are the same, the difference is the filters they use....AWI is the best Ive owned so far...My last set of filters lasted me nearly 1.5 years, and I make quite a bit of water...

I just bought an AWI... I will let you know when I test it out in a couple of days.

I can tell you: Do NOT buy from Pure Water Club!
