Roller Mat opinions

I've never ran a sock or even skimmer but I guess these things came along in my hiatus. They intrigue me, I've like the idea of filter socks but don't want to add chores. These seem pretty slick and the bubble magus ones are fairly cheap. Anyone out there running one, if so what are your thoughts?

Running the 10" rollermat as part of our Trigger Platinum series 34 sump. Very happy with it. Got tired of washing filter socks. Now we only change out the rollermat roll every couple months instead. It's built into this sump. There are other companies that make them as drop-ins as well though to augment an existing sump.

I will have 3 tanks tied together & went with the Aqua Maxx F-1 from Marine Depot, which fit my Trigger Sapphire sump. The plan is to bypass the roller with the return from a display refugium, to preserve the pod squad.
