While changing my water at 3am I misread my refractotmeter and dropped my tanks salinity from 1.025 to 1.022. Should I correct it with another water change, or let it go for a week or 2 until the next scheduled change? I'm worried about it swinging back and forth in such a short period of time.

Yeah, down is much easier on the livestock than up. A minor 0.005 adjustment is one thing but 0.03 would be best to increase it with topoff water.

Its an easy mistake to make. I use my hanna salinity tester while i am mixing water but double check with a vee gee refractometer before the actual water change. That has saved me a couple times
