I was looking into this the last few days. Does anyone have any pros/cons/suggestions? Is there any issue with bubbles getting back into display? Also can it be used as a refugium? Was thinking of using live rock as walls to keep Micro algae in the middle of the tub.

Pic’s and links would be great!!! TIA

I use a rubbermaid. Bubbles can be an issue, I use filter floss by the pump inlet to catch the bubbles. Its definately not a filter, just a sump, but it works just fine.

I used to use a 100g Rubbermaid sump, never noticed an issue with bubbles. But all I kept in it (completely open) was a skimmer, Marine pure block, heaters, and return pump.

Side note: I do have this 100g Rubbermaid sump for sale
