So I was given a bubble blaster 2000 pump and the screws are rusted on it. I heard that if this happened that it would be repaired by the manufacturer or some company. Is this true? Will this be warrantied?

I have read a thread on RC where manufacturer, Coralvue; is a sponsor and they have addressed the problem, finally Coralvue agreed to send some new screws to the owner. Same rust happens to me with in my pump and never bothers me, but if they would be able to respond why "titanium screws" are rusting and send some replacements I'll be gladdy to join with you and send them some rusty ones. Please let me know if you decided to talk to them, I have talk before with Jeremy (at Coralvue) and he always was helpful and easy going.

I just submitted a ticket with a picture of the pump to CoralVue. I will see what they say later.

I had that happen to me with a MAG pump before, never with my BB5000. CV is great with cs, so hopefully everything will work out for ya :) Let us know!

They just responded to my ticket with this.....

"If you give me your shipping info we will get new screws and a new volute sent out to you."

Looks like good customer service to me.

Same thing happened with the BB pump on a SRO 1000SSS I had. They took care of it no problem.

Men this is great costumer service! I knew it even before I got my skimmer. I just called them about same problem and they gonna help me too! I meant they stand behind their products and even if the screws it is a minor problem they help you. Well after I think about it, how could I have removed the screws if the rust was worst at this moment? :(

Is your volute suppose to have the output upward? Mine point to the side of the pump

BTW, coralvue has a great CS, and stand behind their products, they promise to send me same as you, new volute and screws, that's way I have chosen this skimmer.

Ahh, I see model 2000 points upward.

I agree 100% that it's great they have such great customer service and response. They did the same for me when I had a BB3000. But, it's so common and widespread that it troubles me. I commonly ask for forgiveness rather than permission with my wife but I don't appreciate the behavior from manufacturers. They continue to put out faulty products year after year knowing about the problem. That's not cool.
