?s about Quarantining Ulva from Ga Coast

Heya guys, a buddy just brought me a tupperware container full of what looks like Ulva (sea lettuce), thinking I might wanna try to put it in my reef tank. I accepted happily, really is cool stuff, but upon further inspection realized that there were many tubeworm/leech looking organisms in the water. I would like to put the Ulva in my tank, but am not 100% sure how to properly quarantine a macroalgae from the ocean, and I don't want any hitch-hikers. I'm about to start doing a lil more research, but just figured i'd ask if anyone here had any advice or links they would like to share.
