I read an article about the CBBs that SA is raising and bringingn to market as tank raised. Has anyone purchased an SA CBB?

I would love to get a hardy specimen.

This is the article I read. Its somewhat dated since its from 2011 so I assume things have progressed even further. Could be potential for a group buy.

Dont misinterpret tanked "reared" and tank bred. These are "reared", which just means they were captured small, and then put it a tank. Still wild caught. Its some creative marketing. NOBODY is tank breeding CBBs

Correct. SA has a sustainable islands division that produces tank raised fish. I am wondering if anyone has or has seen one of the SA CBBs.

I have seen them, and theyre really not that different at all from wild ones.
