I've been using instant ocean but have a chance to pick up 50 gal buckets of seachem sea salt for less than half what I'm paying for I.O. anyone have experience with sea salt and what are your verdicts.

I use seachem reefsalt and its great... A lot more consistant

I'm not sure if it's reefsalt I was just told it was sea salt but at $16 a bucket I'm thinking of trying it as long as it doesn't create any problems with my tank

Seachem makes 2: reef and marine. Both are great salts. If it's something other than the 2 above, then it's not seachem.

On another note, if it is seachem salt, hook me up! I'll buy multiple pallet loads at that price!

Seem to remember Kent makes "sea salt"

I forgot about Kent making sea salt will have to check into that too. If it is Kent anyone have experiences with this salt mix.
Don't know if I can hook alot of people up will look into it, I have a scuba student that I have been working with for a couple of years who has a brother that owns an aquarium store somewhere in north georgia that is getting me a good price. It maybe a 1 time deal I really don't know.
