What brand of salt do you use?
Do you add any supplements?
When I first started the hobby 5 years ago I was buying water until I bought an ro buddie, deionization canister, 30 gallon brute trash can with a float valve, a circulating pump, ground wire and heater. I make it a few days ahead of the water change to get a good mix. For salt I use Instant Ocean Reef Crystals and add a drop of Continuum Iodide.
