Thanks for the info but are these all the saltwater stores or just ARC Sponsors?

Wouldn't be too cool to post info on stores that are not sponsors IMHO. After all, sponsors help to pay for this site and provide lots of great info to the members free of charge. I think it would be a slap in the face to post the locations of people who are not willing to do so.

Technically all stores. Some are exclusive online tho. There's actually too many stores to name if you don't give us a specific location you want to be in.

What is it specifically that you are looking for? Maybe if you post it, the others can make suggestions on where to buy etc..

Copperband Butterflyfish to attempt to control the Aiptasia that has taken over my tank. I don't want to have to resort to using a syringe so I thought I would try using nature(sort of fighting fire with fire)

Peppermint shrimp eat aiptasia. You can find them about anywhere.

Actually, the LFS sponsors don't PAY anything. Some may argue the 10% discount they extend to members is their "payment".

I stand corrected. :-) But, some of them do provide a lot of good advice and that is worth something in my opinion. :-) And yes, the discount is nice.

So does this mean if I go to an ARC Sponsor I can get a discount? If so, how do I verify to them that I am a real ARC member?

Edit: Thanks everyone for the great info =-)

Well , at the moment arc sponsors don't extend their discount to users. There is a 30 membership fee.

To join the ARC as a Member you pay $30 a year dues. Right now you are a Registered User on the Website. Use of the Website is free, but only ARC Members get a 10% discount at ARC Sponsors.

Thanks, I will join as soon as I get $30. I had to pay rent & utilities with my last check.

Next meeting is January, wait till u meet everyone than decide. But if it's for the discount, than do it whenever

I didn't have to wait until the meeting to decide to join. With all the information, help and great deals on livestock & equipment, it was a no brainer. Just still waiting for my membership card however.
