<p style="text-align:center;">what kind of goby do u recommend thats a good sand sifter in a 10 gallon reef tank with a clownfish?

your safe with most gobies, i have a clown and the rest of my tank is all gobies. anything you choose is not a bad choice, just make sure your clown wont kill it.

my clown is real small anyway, but some people have told me that some gobies dont clean the sand bed that good

true enough
I had try many gobies and had found that the sleepydragon are the best gobie for the job. Be warn they are HEAVY sand sifter so you will need to have somekind of rocklift + there will be sand on the uperpart of your rock.

the only gobie I would recommend is the sleeperdragon. I would not borther with anyother gobies for that job

you really only need one sand sifter in your tank or at least for a 10 gal.

ok do u think i could use a young diamond for a little while in my 10 and then when i move to my 29 that will be big enough, or will they be stressed even when the fish is small in the 10

that the 1 I am talking about. A small 1 will do just fine till you upgrade.

Two Spot Goby. those are great also, but nothing like the sleeper gobie :D

ok one more question, when u look at fish stats for a blue tang it says it needs atleast a 70 gallon tank, but a friend in a pet store close by has a small one in a 12 gallon nano cube, is that ok till they get bigger or is that a bad idea.

diamond goby should be good for you, i have had one in a 24g for about 6 months.

I put a diamond goby in my 29gal nano and he created a sand storm for 3 weeks. The sand was pearly white, but you couldn't see any of the corals due to the sand particles. Eventually I had to breakdown my tank to get him out and put him in my 140gal. I think just stirring the sand with a wooden cooking spoon would be more affective and less irritating. Otherwise, I have 2 clown gobies and a purple firefish goby along with a percula in the tank and they all get along great.
