My two scissortail gobies have been through a lot together. They were the first fish I put into my 75g 3 years ago. I fed the tank just now and one of them wasn’t coming out to eat; which is unusual. I could see him peeking out, but it was like he was afraid of something. Finally, he left his hole to come up to the top for some food and was instantly chased by the other until he returned to the hole. I know these fish can be aggressive towards each other in groups, and that one almost always becomes the “dominant” one, but these two have been best buds for so long; rubbing on each other and sharing a dart-hole. I was certain they were paired. Do you think they’ll return to normal?
