I ran into my friend giving away his live rock!!! He's going back to freshwater. 75 pounds for 50 bucks. Then I'm going back to get his other 180 some odd pounds for 70. I'm super stoked! Then I got an offer to work at a local fish shop part time and help take care of the fresh and salt water fish. I basically get to work part time and get "hands on experience" while paying for my tank!!! I'm exchanging help for different items I need!!! Once my tank is fully up and running I can hold back get top of the line equipment at wholesale cost.

Lol I know right. It's exciting. I'm very happy about getting hands on experience so I can learn a few things without completely trashing my wallet. The systems are not great atm. But she has all new stuff ordered and I will get to figure it out and learn. Plus play with different lighting to figure out my big purchases.

I really wanted to get a part time job at a LFS for when I go back to school and can't work full time. Maybe one of the stores closer to me will come around. Glad that things are working out for you though and good deal on the LR!
