Anyone have any insight on these guys? i dont recall ever seeing one in a LFS are they hard to care for or just not common?

I have a male Whip fin right now and i was interested in the "cook island" version on liveaquaria just seeing if anyone had any input on whether that is a wise choice or not

Thanks!

Scotts can be very aggressive and jumpy, but other than that, they are beauties

They also tend to lose some of their coloration without girls to impress from my understanding.

Mine lost most his coloring like Jin said. He's a dark blue/yellow now but doesn't bother any of my other wrasses (exquisite/solarensis/rubyheaded/flashers) but did go after another male scotts which I had to get rid of. Very awesome fish!

The Aviarium had one last week, give then a call and see if they still have it. They are one of our sponsors!
