I do a 20% WC bi-weekly in my 30 cube, with a very light bioload of calcium ingesting livestock (1 clam, 2 or 3 LPS frags, 1 SPS frag )
I've never really tested for calcium as I lack a good calcium test kit. Seachem Reef salt has pretty reliable numbers when it comes to it's chemistry. I don't believe I have enough calcium reliant inhabitants to worry about calcium levels.
I've noticed hardly any growth in a few months, including coraline algae, but attribute this to needing a new bulb in my MH fixture (hopefully replacing tomorrow)
Does it seem worth it to fret over the calcium?
