Just go a bigger tank. The tank was full no sign of leaks. When i removed the water from the tank it has what appears to be sealant that is not well adheared to the corners. Looks like someone added not factory. I need to put the water and rock in the tank but want opinions if I should replace this sealant and if so what is the cure time?

Thank you
Burton

If you decide to replace the silicone, you will need to cut out ALL of it and re-do the entire tank. You can't put new over old..it won't work well.

If you're having doubts, go ahead and do it now. You'll kick yourself later if you don't.

thanks I did not have doubts looked like a home job not sure why it was done. tank is full no signs of weakness. i believe some one had some sealant and just put it on the tank.
