Sebae Anemone placement

Having ID'd my specimen as Sebae which has a nice size foot of approx 1/2 inch in diameter, I tried to place him on LR with good lighting and moderate tidal flow....he did not like it. Seems to prefer the sand bed however the size of the foot makes seating difficult....any suggestions on how to accomplish this without damaging?

feed him when he finds a spot you like. works well for some.

There really is not a good way with Sebae nems... They do not fair well in aquariums and as such, they always move to try to find a place good for them, but hardly ever do.

IMHO, best thing you can do is let him TRY to find his own place. He SHOULD know what is best for him. Do not be surprised, Sebaes often like to be on sand beds in the wild.
