How are you guys storing this stuff to be able to use it again?
Yes, I realize a tube is only 50 cents and sometimes 34 cents if you can find a 3-pack but it seems like such a waste to throw an entire tube away after a single use.

Does storing upright with rice in a jar work?

I find the best bang for your buck is to avoid the dollar store glue in the tiny tubes.

Bob Smith Industries (BSI) glue is one of many brands that offers a better deal, and lasts longer by reducing the exposed surface area to volume ratio. The smaller the exposure to moisture, the less unintentional curing.

I don't use the tip provided to dispense the glue, I just use it from the tube making sure to not get it in contact with anything wet. Water causes it to cure/harden. Then I use a piece of a plastic bag to cover the tube when I'm done then screw the top on. If the seal is good the glue will be fresh next time I open it up.

Typically I find this can work for up to 3-4 weeks.
