Should Tigger Pods be exposed to a STRONG current?

Hey guys,

Got some tigger pods in the mail the other day. Put 90% in my refugium and 10% in my tank. I am not sure any remain in my main tank since the fish saw I was putting them in and acted accordingly.

I have a question about the ones in my fuge. But first, some background on my fuge.

My fuge has a broken pipe which keeps it from melding with the system. Suffice to say, I have put a 10 gallon filter and a thermometer on it so life can grow in there. I have a live rock and some mud otherwise (no lights yet).

There is a REALLy strong current since the fuge is only 2.5 gallons ( a CPR hang-on). My question is, is this bad for the pods in the fuge? Will they get killed by the current? OR should I go buy an air diffuser instead? I took the filter out so that no phytoplankton (their food) or copepods gets stuck in the filter. My filter is only on there to generate motion.
