okay guys...I finally got my 90...Im really trying to plan for the future when it comes to the layout of the engine compartment to my stand...looking for layout ideas........SHOW ME WHAT'CHA GOT UNDERNEATH THEM TANKS!!! im looking for plumbing layouts and electrical layouts where you put your chiller, reactors, the whole bit....I need ideas people.:D

Here is my design...it has changed some but all the big parts are in the same places. The chiller is between the stand of the 160 and the refug. I also have my skimmer beside the 160 on the RH side on top of my RO/DI Container. Hope that helps!

Yep, 5 gal, I think. Picked it up at Wally World. Drilled it and added an 18 Watt PC light.

i might have to copy your set up, although i've already drilled mine straight through the bottom... :mad2:

how much flow do you have going through it and are you feeding straight off the overflow or is it pump driven?

sorry for the thread jack.

You could use the bottom hole to make a standpipe return.

sorry for the thread jack.

Maybe 80 gph- pretty low flow using a mini jet pump.

The nice thing about these little pumps is that there is a flow adjustment feature built into them.

Here is one of mine.

Make sure that school is done right the first time or you will end up like me... a 40 year old student. Nothing like sitting through classes with clasmates younger than your own children!!!

I was refered to your set-up by the Purple Gorrilla! I have a 75 bowfront too. I had given up on going underneath. There just doesnt seem to be enough room for volume.
Can you give me some details on that baby.I was going through the wall with a 30gal sump/fuge. But I like yours.
Please tell me about it.
Thanks!
