Hey all, this is my 20gal max nano. About 3 months along—I have 2 clowns, a cleaner shrimp, 2 snails, a hammer, chalice, mushroom, and a two headed torch in the back.

I’m looking for advice on what I can put on the top left rock—I want something to take up some space up there and maybe host the clowns though that doesn’t have to happen. I was thinking a toadstool or something else that will spread out. Anybody have any advice for what can tolerate the light up there or would look good?

I would do some SPS if you think you can handle it. Montipora Capricornis is a nice, easy show piece. Different branching acropora, or some easier birdsnest.

A toadstool would look great but they get large and can cast shadows

I definitely like the capricornis. Guess SPS makes me nervous but I do have a power head there and the light. Water changes have kept my alk and calcium high enough, so should be alright if I don’t overload the tank. Thank you for the suggestion!
