do you guys turn off your skimmers or leave them on when your feeding phyto? I hear that regular turning on and off your skimmer could affect its performance?

It depends on how I feel, sometimes I just dump it in there and other times I target feed with a 36" feeding pipitte.

Is this the best way to feed all corals ??? I have a foot tall finger leather and there is no way I can do that.. And so how much food do u feed. I usually pull up a mixture in a 10 cc and feed the entire tank with 10 cc just by squirting a little bit up current from each coral.

If thats the case than should I turn my power heads off when I feed them Phyto? Thats the only way I can see how I'm able to product a cloud oh Phyto around my coral. I think I can set a feeding time on my reef keeper 2 and feed both my fish and coral at the same time.

well I guess after I'm done with this bottle of phyto imma stop buying more than. No point in feeding them if it does them no good. I agree with you though dawgdude. If they can't benefit from the phyto than its just a waste of money and I'm just making my water dirtier.

I turn it off for about hour when feeding. Or else it just sucks it all out.

I also keep pumps off for 15 minutes or so.
