Skimmer Problem

I have a Terminator II which is a fission recirculating type. I took it out to wash it with the pressure washer on low and now its having some problems. This happened when the skimmer was new and almost everytime I mess with it: The bubbles in the skimmer is huge, and don't seem like it's getting chopped. I took off all the connectors, check the pump and the pipes, installed it back, and still does the same thing, whether in or out of the water reguardless. Am I just in the break in period again? Last time this problem lasted for a few days and ride itself out. But I have a new BB tank and the inhabitants is sliming due to the move, I really need this skimmer to work ASAP.

Although the T2 is by far better than the T-101 model, you may be experiencing a problem with it's fundamental bug: see below.

Sorry - couldn't resist. Is the pump strong enough to force air so the venturi makes smaller bubbles? Only thing I can think of.
