skimmer question

right now i have a seaclone, but they have a brand new Coralife Super Skimmer Model 65 at LFS they will sell me for $80 its usually around $130 new. Anyone have one of these? Should i get it? My seaclose seems to work pretty well.. but i know they are considered pretty crappy skimmers. Im hesitant to get the coralife because it looks so complicated.. any thoughts?

The first skimmer I ever bought was a seaclone. I thought </em>it was doing a good job until I actually used a good skimmer. It's amazing how bad the seaclone really is!

The super skimmer is better, but not by much. I would save the $80 and put it towards a quality skimmer. You'll end up buying one at some point anyway, so why waste the $80 now?

okay, can u suggest a good hang on skimmer?

I have one and it is not very good. It's not the worst but you would be better off with a Aqua C Remora probably and about the same price.
