Skimmer

Can anyone recommend a decent skimmer for a 20L I do about a 20% W/C every week and water parameters are great. Nitrates usually run between 10-15 though. I have mosty softies and a couple LPS. I am getting some acro frags and I want to do all I can for water quality. I have a current nano skimmer. Bad choice but I was swindled when I was green. I am not looking to spend a fortune since I am planning for another tank. I use an Aquaclear HOB with just the sponge and carbon. Water is crystal clear but I am wondering if I should be skimming.

i don't. I have a 2.5g refuge plumbed into my 10 gallon nano. Only run the fuge and have Aquaclear HOB 50 running the sponge carbon and bio-stuff. nitrates are between that rage as well.

this will all be changing soon as i will be getting a bigger system soon

In that small of a tank, you can simply do frequent/regular water changes and be just fine. Save your money for the skimmer when you upgrade.

Thanks guys. Been told both ways. Think I'll use the pump off the Nano-Skimmer for a powerhead. Can't wait to upgrade.
