Skull grow out fun

Purchased this silly little skull as a potential idea for the grow-out contest - but I didn't get it in time (plus I'm not really eligible) - but I decided to play along anyway.

Don't want to post in that thread since this isn't an official entry.

Growth shown is a little over 45 days. Colors are not very well represented in these photos but you can see the growth - plus the snail eggs.

amazon -its ceramic, bbeen in my tank for 45+ days - last weeks ICP test showed no issues - except low iodine - so unless this dude is drinking iodine - I think it's OK for now at least.

that sea lettuce junk (or whatever it is) slowed things down a little. Also got stung a while back by a monti which slowed it down in some sections.

Still growing well though.

Nearing 1 year -



Im amazed at how much growth is on the inside of the skull as well - it's very dull of course - but over 1/3 of the inside is fully encrusted as well.
