Small ish tank equipment / build

Ok! I'm considering picking up a 40g breeder. It will be drilled (by me) and set up as a shallow reef tank.

Lets go with mid range budgeted items

If you were building one... what equipment would you go with ? what light... skimmer...

I love 40B. They have a great footprint!

I have one with 2 MM LEDs. I have a bunch of sps. I personally love the footprint of the 40b
