snowflake eel

anyone owe a snowflake eel? i got mine about a week ago and havent seen his butt. I know they can go with out eating for a bit, but he is an excellent hider. was wondering if he will hide until he is not longer able to hide in the rock or if he will get comfortable and come out more then now

i have a complete enclosure... only place he could go in down the predrilled holes... i guess i am going to remove the top and canopy and break out my flashlight..

oh ya, i found him... little hider!

Was gonna say.. I had a full enclosure also, and mine somehow still got out of the tank... Found it a few days later under the recliner..... Must have gone up my filter and out the back of it since the entire lid was covered well... Glad to know you still have him around. Good luck with him!

ya i found him poke his head out from a rock when i turned off the lights but i have yet to see him come out and swim... i have also not seen him eat yet... i have even tried to feed him a piece of krill on a feeder stick.... not sure what to do

found mine in the closet next to the tank about 2 weeks later. little bugger must have crawled 25ft to get to where he died

what is mysis? i tried to google it... you dont think krill will work? my problem is that the krill floats and he is a bottom kinda guy, so unless he get his butt in gear and becomes more active then he is goign to be one skinny eel..
