I've noticed a few references to this, but I've never done it. I have upgraded my fish QT from 10 to 29 gallons, so I need something to do witht the 10g. This sounds like a smart use for it. I'd considered a frag tank, but I don't plan to do more with corals than it takes to populate my reef, and I'll probably continue to grow out my frags in the display. Therefore, a frag tank is a big expense and a lot of trouble for little use.

Can you give some basic info on setup and procedure? And how long should corals be isolated?

I'll need a light, too... what can I get by with for softies and LPS, considering that this is not long-term?
Are there any products I should add to eliminate parasites/pests?
How about filtration and feeding? I have an Aquaclear 70 HOB that I use for fish QT, I can make that do double duty when I need it to, but what media to use?

Sorry to ask so much at once, but I need a primer on this.
