I will be buying my first fish here soon, and I'd like to know the preferred method for transportation... some sort of cooler I presume?
Any heat source for a one hour trip? In a bag inside?

Thanks,
Barry

No heat source, just plenty of water, and if needed another bag with water only as an additional heat source.
Cooler is a must but others than that - should be very easy - where are you buying?

Just to clarify the above asnswer....... Have the fish bagged as usual. If the cooler feels cold to the touch in the inside, rinse it a few seconds in warm water to knock the chill out, then place the bagged fish in the cooler. You'd be good for a couple of hours at least.

Umm,

sure the fish needs to be in bag - sorry, missed the obvious part... LOL

Probably Saltwater City... let me rephrase that, definitely there.

I'm probably gonna get a pair of clowns Friday.

Got the Damsels home, Robb. Call me if you want any afternoon this week and we'll get together.

Wow, that was fast!

I've never used a cooler. Does that make me a bad reefer? :) I just bring them home as quick as I can without moving the bag around too much. Then plop 'em in the bucket and drip them for about an hour. Longer, of course, for inverts. I've been as long as an hour and a half before with no trouble. I don't like taking that long, but have done it.

Depends either I put them in one of those seal a meal sealers or if I'm just going a short distance....pocket.
