Socks / sponges

Wondering how many people run ZERO socks or filter sponges in their sump / around intake of return pump?

I don't run any

Me either but I'm making the switch. Too much debris floating at the bottom of my sump.

And sometimes gets in the display after I turn my return back on after feeding time.

Ther aren't necessary, but they do help remove particulates.
