I am taking my frag tank down but want to keep my Nem and clowns so I am thinking of setting up a cube.

I am thinking of a Solana AIO but here the filtration sucks. I really like the idea of an AIO and the rimless look. Will just adding a Tunze Nano skimmer fix the filtration issue or do I have to buy a good hang on. In which case I have to build a contraption to hide all the crap as I do not want to see it.

I will only have the nem & clowns as well as some lps and zoas.

The other route is to buy a marinland but then I would have to build and Custom sump and ETC..... I could tie it into my main system but rather not.

So people which should I do? Tell me the negative or the positives of the Solana.

Thanks Joe

I was about to get a solana, but then saw alot of these on another forum and was sold. take a look at this

I am in the process of setting up the 39 gallon pro, its a great system. Eddie the owner is top notch to deal with. I know its not what you asked, but I hope it helps!

That is a great looking setup. The 50 gallon artisan series complete setup is only $939 : hqi light, light hanger, starfire tank, stand, sump with pump, skimmer. Shipping might be a bit, but still a bargain. Nice site.

I believe I paid about $100 for shipping, but i got the stand along with the tank. like I said, it was worth it. The guy who owns it really work with you and answers all the questions. I am actually thinking about ordering the 22 they make now also... this dang hobby takes all my money

Not bad thanks.

Have you read any reviews on them or seen one in person? I will google them.

Which one did you get and when does it arrive?:)

Joe

I originally ordered the 39 signature about 2 months ago, well this was before they changed shipping companys, and when it arrived it was in a million pieces. So I called eddie again, and he said they were not making them for a few weeks, but he would upgrade me to the 39 pro for FREE!!! So I was very happy with that. I do not have water in the tank yet because I am moving in two weeks, but I will go take some pic if you give me a few minutes. Once they make it, which takes about a week, he sends them two day and the new shipping packaging is hardcore... I dont know how anything could break in using it.

I was pondering moving from my 28 JBJ to the CAD 50 Artisan....then I thought I might as well have both, then I saw the Marineland Deep Dimension tanks and my head started to hurt :confused2:....then my wife gave me 'the look' and yay, I still only have the 28 JBJ :shout:. Maybe after our baby is born I might not get 'the look' - To be continued.....

I don't know much about the Solana, but for Clowns, Nem, LPS and Zoas I would think you would be fine with the stock tank with upgraded skimmer only.

Joe,

I have a 34 gallon solana you are more than welcome to come take a look at to see if you like the tank.(mines not for sale). The stock skimmer is not adequate for a heavily stocked tank so I have a remora C skimmer and upgraded the maxijet 1200 to with a $30.00 pump from Tim that cranks out an additional 100gph. Works great and my tank is heavily!!!!! stocked. The only thing I have a challenge with is getting my nitrates to zero, but honestly I think my lps and polyps like the water a little rich. My digi's and plum crazy acro don't seem to mind. The tank has been up for a year now.
