I need to replace the pump on the stock skimmer. It is starting to show rust on the impeller shaft. Anyone have any idea what this pump is or where to find it locally?

Replace it with a maxi jet 1200.

Stock MJ1200 or the one with the RVT adapter? Just tried to run the stock one and it is not producing any bubbles?

I don't think the Maxi jet is gonna work in the skimmer. . However its best to go ahead and upgrade to a Tunze Nano. It would produce more skimmage and a lot quieter.

Hope I am not hijacking this thread. I just got a used Solana yesterday and my skimmer pump blows out water but no bubbles. Is the pumps supposed to blow out bubbles if so can I do anything to it to have it blow bubbles or do I need to purchase a new one? Thanks

I upgraded my return pump to a mag 5, plug and play, and also changed out my skimmer pump with a RIO 600 RVT also plug and play just extended the length of airline tubing. I replaced the retrun pump because of restarting issues and replaced the skimmer pump because even though it states salt water safe I had rust on the impeller shaft.
