Some recent photos

I am no photographer but was playing around a little today. I need to get a lens. Any recommendation for a Canon EOS Rebel? I always like seeing pictures of other people's corals and tanks so I figured I would share a few. Sorry for the poor quality. The pictures do not do justice.

Mystery...I love that coral. It has grown from a small frag as all of my colonies have. The color is great and I would pearlberry up against any name coral for overall beauty. One of my all-time favorties.

Frag me #3. Sweet growth pattern!

The table or the multi colored acro? I have both in the frag tank. The multi color acro has some really neat growth patterns depending on the flow. I have three different versions and each one has slightly different colors and branches. I have some really large pieces of that. The tabling on is the Tyree Soli but the other one was a wild piece that I bought as a very small colony from reefermadness when they were the kings of wild pieces. Just let me know.

Sorry I could not count. The third one is the Tyree Soli. I have a few frags of it. One being very large and already formed some shelves. How do you turn up your shutter speed? I am a novice at best.

Thank you Becca. I will have to give that a try. Being on the south side as well maybe you can come by and see them in person and train me on the photos. It takes fine photos. I would like to get a macro lens but if it is not neccessary I will not.

Those are some really nice pictures. Were those with a macro lens or the standard lens. I am not sure what lens is on this thing. It says EFS 18-55mm on it but that is greek to me. It also has a switch on the side of it with an AF and a MF?

I bet the AF/MF is auto focus manual focus. Have to be smarter than a rock sometimes.
