Just wanted to update some photos of the tank and how it looks now. There are far too many corals to capture all of them. The LED lighting has contributed toward fantastic growth and coloration. Money well spent!

Well, here goes........Hope you like.....

Thank you...

Yes, those are Fire and Ice. Hoping they take over the rock. :)

Great looking tank. What kind of fish is that in the last picture? The red one looks amazing.

Thanks...the red fish is a male Lyretail Anthias. One of my prizes chosen by my wife.

Yes indeed, I do love my lil' Blue Tux. He trucks along everywhere in there.

Thanks for all the nice compliments everyone.

Looks great!! I want to know what those yellow zoas in the 3rd pic on top are?? And the acan to? That thing is beautiful!!!

May sound dumb of me, but what is the coral in the first picture of the second set? That is not some type of zoa or paly is it? At first I thought sunburst coral but it did not look encrusting. I like it a lot. Probably try and get one soon!

Thanks..the yellow Zoas are King Midas. Don't know the actual name of the Acan's. I got them as a "rescue" as they were near death. It came back strong.

It is actually a Sun Coral. They look nice and are not photosynthetic so they come out at night alot. They do require feeding (primarily Cyclopeeze) so if you don't mind it, you would probably like them.

BIGGQ00;691105 wrote: do you have your sun coral trained to come out during the daytime or did you let it do what it does naturally?

They basically got trained into coming out later in the day and staying out all night long. Cyclopeeze did the trick for me, now I just put some from the turkey baster into the tank directly and they are usually out within 15 minutes, just in time to enjoy the main course.
