Hopefully this is happening everywhere lionfish have invaded

Wouldn't the grouper die because the lion fish is poisonous?

jacob the answer is no because the lion fish is not poisonous. its venomous. and there is a difference. poisons need to be ingested to work while most venoms (some can have an effect through skin contact) need to be injected to work. so as long as the lionfish goes down head first and all the spines are pushed down the grouper shouldn't get stabbed while eating it and he'll live to tell the tale.

Oh, well then I guess this is good, but I wonder if other grouper will start eating them or if it was just a one time thing .
