No it is a larger venue. Last year was their first swap. I do not think they were expecting such a large turnout. This year Drs. Foster and Smith are supplying 500 gift bags. The gift bags usually have some dry food, DFS $25.00 gift certificates along with other items.

Show your ARC membership card and get 20% off on your purchase from Spikes Corals. Also the swap organizers are giving 1 free raffle ticket to ARC members. Just show them your card.

I will be having lots of $10.00 coral including ORA Green Birdsnest. Plus many other great deals on beautiful coral.

Wish I could be there Glen. Have fun. Hope you make a killing. :-)

I am going on a cruise.....on my lawnmower around my yard.

Had a great time, saw a lot of new hobbyists along with the frag swap regulars.

Rich I wish you could have been there too.

Hey Glen,

I think that it's pretty cool that swap organizers reached out to us like that, looks like it was a cool swap, snazzy frag you have there.
Were you by yourself or did did you have the Spike's "team" there for support.

Ben, this is only the second year for the event. There were attendees from Tenn, NC, GA, along with SC. Vendors from as far as Minn and Maryland. Actually all my family members were busy so I took a good friend and mega hobbyist David Everett.

Cool, it's good to have friends to share this addiction with... bring anything neat home? How was there meet compared to ours, did they organize it differently?

I got a couple of Darth Maul mini colonies, that was about it. Was pretty busy and did not have a good opportunity to make the rounds.

Less patrons but more vendors that our swap. Setup and organization similar. Our location was nicer. This was in a gym in a very large Shriner Hall, it was clean though and right off interstate.

Edit: Swap did go great, I always enjoy them. Some of the vendors and attendees have become friends I love to see and get caught up. Some went to MACNA so I got the low down.
