Some fella caught the world record Spanish hogfish off the NC coast.

Spanish hogfish is classed as a species of wrasse..

Dont think anyone here has a big enough tank for that fella

They're such a pretty fish but I never knew that could get that big. I suppose by it being a world record means that they don't often get that big but even at half that size, it's still a pretty big fish.

Common in the Bahamas the Florida Hogfish, also called Hogfish Snapper or Hog Snapper, is one of the best tasting fish I’ve ever had & get a good bit bigger. It’s a close cousin to the above.
