Is there a local place that sells Spears unions and other plumbing parts?

Jesse- I would try the above suggestion and also call Ferguson's located in Alpharetta.

Just to put it out there, I have been very satisfied with the schedule 40 union fittings and valves that Lowes sells. HD stuff is junk, but Lowes' stuff is good.

I specifically need 1/2" Spears unions to fit the other end I intend to keep that's already in use. 3 for sure now, total of 9 in total.

Nope, no 1/2" unfortunately.

I believe I have 1/2" but no where near 9. MacmasterCarr is your best bet. I order through my company and usually get it same day if I order early enough.
