Spider Mod?

Has anybody seen or attempted a Mod on a spider reflector? Maybe add some aluminum to the ends? Would it even be worth trying? Not sure I want to drop $100 per reflector on an upgrade...

I once thought that way.. Until I just upped the coin and bought some "high end" reflectors.. Trust me.. There is a reason they cost more than a basic reflector..they are well worth the price..
