Website is down for now but hopefully will be up and running by this evening. It has been taking longer than I thought to get fixed.

I had received an e-mail to re-up/pay for my domain name from my web designer/host, I saw the e-mail on my phone and then went about my business. I get anywhere from 80-140 e-mails a day, with many being garbage/spam. Some how that e-mail got lost in that mess. I awoke early Saturday with the " oh s$#@" moment and paid bill through pay-pal. Later I tried to go to site and could not, I guess my payment was to late. I called my designer and he took care of it. You would think it would be instantaneous in todays high tech era but he told me later it could take as much as 72 hours to completely get up. I then asked his if he could set me up for an automatic withdraw because I could forget my a%% if it was not tied on. This a a very expensive lesson learned. To make is worse is the fact the domain name fee is $15.00, doh.

Oh man! Sorry to hear that.

In this digital age, you would think that emails make things easier.... Maybe if you only got 10 a day! I know how you feel with being bogged down with emails. I don't know if I get quite that many(unless we have a big event or stir up on this site) but its hard to sift through all of them.

Did you pay for just 1 year?

I do 10 years on mine, it saves money over time.

I think when site was originally set up I paid for 3 years upfront. I guess it had expired and he just kicks out invoices for 1 year at a time. I will call him and get multiple years paid so as to not go through this again. When I took computer classes in college we were still in DOS and using m=l-c, plus punch cards, no WWW. I was told what I the technology I was learning today would be outdated tomorrow. So my feeling was why learn and just cheat.

Find out when it expires, and set a calendar reminder one month before...

Looks like we are somewhat up now. I have been able to get to my website mail and on to my admin area. Plus I checked and site was up, but my guess it is still not totally up. Not for sure how it works.

I wish I had the fundage for it. After yesterday at the meeting and then pure reef afterwards and buying an apex next week I've officially been but in time out.

I was really down when I was down. But Sunday I felt the love, I had one of my largest sell days ever. I guess pent up demand. Maybe I need to severely screw up more often.
