Basically its a bar with a bunch of holes drilled that distributes the flow over a broader surface. Cliff has on on the 40 he just posted up. I installed it because I wanted to expierment and it really seams to give great surface agitation.

Yep was about to post that link

I just goggled some not so great ones. Should be able to find some really nice diy ones if you search for a few minutes. Locline makes one but it is expensive. I have one and alot of locline stuff in 1/2 in in my garage I cannot use.

I could on another project down the road, but it's just too small for the 180 I am taking a lifetime it seems to set up.

I have a spray bar type return on my 110 -

i have a 1.5 " piece of pvc with a line of holes drilled in it that equal the 1.5 " dia of the pipe -

my return feeds into it just below the waterline of my Display it helps spread the flow across the tank for me , but if you let it point down , it is a sand storm and clean glass LOL
