We are starting a mini farm of sps to test the growth of different sps with different par level and flow ( measure to the best of our ability).

5-6 frags of each of the following. Each frag will be about 2 inches.

Pearlberry
Strawberry Shortcake
Hawkins blue
Red Planet
Palmer blue
Sunset milli
Rose milli
Pink milli
Purple monster*** ( only 2 , 1 inch will be made. We only recently purchase this )
Pink lemonade
Jedi Mind Trick monti

1 frag of each with be on a rack middle of tank (lower par lower flow)
1 will be mid tank with low flow
1 will be mid tank with high flow
1 will be top tank with low flow
1 will be top tank with high flow

Remaining frags will be allocated at random.

It will be kept under t5 with a photo period of 6 hours full lights, 6 actinic, and 12 dark. I will update more info and specific later if we have time. Coarse will run till after new years, maybe feb or even march. This is mainly to synchronize with his fund raising with his school.

Once frags have grown and we are satisfied, the frags, hopefully mini colonies will be auction off or sold at a set price and donated to the charity that he will be involved in. You can also donate money with his name and trade it for coral. Please bring the reciept.

Ok maybe I'm tired but I don't understand whats going on?

Who is he?
Who or what charity?
What is the main objective here? Growth test or fundraising?

Objective is just to have some fun with sps for us. The charity part is related to college. Each year they raise money for a chosen charity and than present it to the charity at a banquet. Last year it was the red cross, year before eas American cancer society, etc. Selling of growth is an easy way to gather money that cost us nothing. Thought it be nice. No one has to make any purchase or donations unless than want to.

Edit: He being the boyfriend.

sounds fun and "he being the boyfriend" is lucky to have you to help him.

now, on to the corals... i would love to get some of those just cause of the colors and not the names but can't wait to see them.
