My skimmer is splashing. How do I quiet the water coming out.Its dropping 2" . Can I add a elbow down into water.

Don't add an elbow it restricts the output. Use a piece of flex line to drop down into the sump at a shorter angle

How about a.T fitting, That way it still gets air and is directed down.

That will take if it. Or you can build your own out of pvc. It takes a little time and effort. However, it's easy to do. .

A 1 1/4 inch t pvc fit perfectly into the output. Just stick another 1 1/4 pvc on up side and downside of that t so it will go down below water level ( to stop the splashing). Just make sure that tge output is right there above the water line and the output points to the next chamber. Skimmer works better that way. U don't have to glue it in or anything too

Made one in 15 minutes. $6.00
Super silent. Works great.Mine came with adapter to metric to 1.5 standard pvc

Thanks Reggie. I m very puzzled why Coralvue don't supply an elbow or the kit that cost 40.00. Its not like it's a new problem. Been going on for yrs.I know its an easy fix.Just add it in with the product.
