I woke up this morning to find that skimmer pump wasn't working. I took the pump out and took the impeller apart and when I did the end that creates the bubbles came off. Is the tip suppose to be glued on or is it made to come off?

I have the cone version of the same skimmer, when another fella here posted that he had problems in his pump from rusting screws I jump on that thread to suggest him to call Jeremy at Coralvue, and explain the problem, so we finally both did, he got new screws and new volute for replacement and so I did, I believe it's same part of his Nice Costumer Service OR, like another guy said here on reference to another expensive skimmer "they will send you replacement parts or new units for nothing or just a fraction of the cost because you already have paid the cost of three of those units" anyway, the other thing that I could be suspecting of is that they know that some specific serial numbers become bad in short period of time, they will ask you for pics of both, damaged part and serial #, good luck!
