Well, I have been out of this hobby for quite some time and I decided to get back into it. I went and bought an aquarium and now I plan to build the stand and canopy. I purchased a 120g (I think it is a 120... 60X18X25) glass tank from glasscages. The overflow is in the far left side facing the tank. I have basic tools and bacis skills. Does anyone out there have plans that could be used for my project? Thanks!

A basic stand can be made with 2x4's and plywood panels - check out Garf.org, they have stand calculators that can lay it out for you.

I think they also have calculators for a canopy, too.

Do you have a circular saw?

Also, its important that when you assemble the frame, that you do it on a flat surface - like concrete, in a garage floor. It will help ensure everything's square.

Most concrete floors are not flat or level. A square is used to ensure that it is square.
