I bought a stand about 4 years ago for my new 120. It's been in my basement sense then. When I pulled it out it seems to rock a little on the flat concrete. I think maybe the light moisture might have slightly warped it..now I also put two support brackets in the back so I'm going to remove them and hope that helps but if not do you think it will be a problem or will the weight flatten it out with no problem?

Doesn’t matter what it’s made of really, if it’s out of square it will not hold up in the long run. Your glass will probably shatter before the stand collapses though. That stand needs to be rock solid, level and square, no exceptions.

I realized it wasn't the stand. It was the floor in my basement.. should have checked that first.. but I guess you don't know what you dont know.. I do appreciate the reply tho..

Ha!!! I had the same thing! And not just by a little bit either. I have carpet too so ultimately put some bolts into the concrete so I could be sure I had a firm base that would stay level. It’s worked!

Glad it wasn't the stand. I would still double check it for structural integrity before putting a tank on it. Its been sitting for a few years, a quick check wouldn't hurt.

Im re-checking it on kitchen floor.. I might have been right with the first guess but want to rule that out..
